AIDS/HIV ORPHANS IN CAPETOWN

It is clear that AIDS is having a devastating impact on South Africa. There are many possible reasons why South Africa has been so badly affected by AIDS, including poverty, social instability and a lack of government action. The children you see above should be in school, instead they dance in the streets for money for food.

Our aim is to raise £50,000 to build an Orphanage which would give the orphans a safe and secure environment where they will receive the necessary treatments for this illness. At the moment these young children are being cared for by street children in the townships.

This is Zandile, she was a little girl in SA. She unfortunately was picked up too late to benefit well from anti-retrovirals, but there are loads of children in her position and loads of orphans too. They really don't need much to make a huge difference in their lives, so it's such a tragedy that they are often not noticed by a big part of the world.
