2007 Santa Fun Run was a tremendous success despite only 194 out of the 364 runners taking part. An amazing £9,284 was handed in on the day and still money keeps pouring in. We would like to thank everyone who still turned up on the 30th after the run on the 9th was cancelled due to Force 10 gales.

A lot more children turned up this year which was great to see and it is becoming more of a family event with mum's and dad's joining their children. There were also more teams making the effort and even making props, such as Santa's Chimney even a person turned up on skates. One Santa turned up on his reindeer and over 10 dogs who dressed up in Santa suits took part.

This year we will be encouraging people to make festive floats or decorated wheelchairs etc to take part. As the event gets bigger every year we are trying our best to make it even more enjoyable for everyone taking part. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please email us.

 This year goodie bags were given to all the children with items being donated by Le lievre's, Wilkinson of Guernsey, and Aladdin's Cave. All medals were kindly donated by Maubrook Jewellers. The water was supplied courtesy of Highland Spring Jersey.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Police Traffic Section, Huelin Renouf, Keith Mourant and Son, Regency Events, The Albany Pub, and Mel and Dana Brown, and all the girls on the toy department at Aladdin's Cave for all their help.To Dave Sheppard for standing in at the last minute to marshall for us, also to everyone who volunteered to sign in runners and make the teas and coffees at the end. Without your help we would not be able to make this such a successful event.
